Today I feel like giving a big fuck you to anybody that’s ever pissed me off. I had to deactivate my Facebook account this morning in order to minimize my urges to blow the hell up on everybody. (Snaps crab claws)

At this very moment I find myself sitting in VIP at a ratchet ass club in West Palm. Anytime I go to the club (which is almost never) I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, and I don’t dance. I just observe. Watching people in their element is quite interesting. I wonder if I’m the only one who noticed that black people act very similar to monkeys at the club. And I mean that in the least racist way possible. Lol. Nigga’s walking around the club, vibin’ to the beat with that gorilla demeanor. I love the way they shake their fists in the air to the music like territorial chimpanzees. Lmao. And the chicks shake their asses like… Well, you know… Monkeys. Lmao. Niggas on primate!

I really don’t know how to feel about this..

Tuesday, I went to school to take a Biology exam. When I finished, I walked out to the parking lot and approached my car. As I began to open the door I noticed a white piece of paper tucked underneath my windshield wiper. I picked it up and it read,

“Dear Beautiful,

You are my dream girl.

I love you, and your car.

It is just like you.

Black, beautiful, and fast.

Just like your hair.

Love, Your admirer”

Long time, no rant. Lego.

Everyone knows I’m a vicious feminist. And as such, I have been doing some extensive research on a very taboo subject: Female Sexuality. Yes, exploring a women’s sexuality in this patriarchal society is viewed as being shameful, resulting in slut shaming and the sexual repression of women.

The last quote I posted on here was meant to foreshadow the next series of female sex rants I will go on in the next few weeks. I quoted a phrase from a woman named Betty Dodson. She is a sex educator I have been following religiously for quite some time now. A lot of the information I have been researching has opened my eyes to what it means to be a women. Let me further explain.

As a woman, in today’s American society, women are brainwashed to believe that their self-worth is related to their hidden or non-existent sexuality. So much focus is placed on men and their “right” to fuck everything with a pulse while being praised and glorified for their sexual endeavors. Meanwhile, women are forced to believe that exploring/expressing/engaging in sex is whorish/slutty/evil.

These ideals lead to widespread misogyny and outright inferiority of women. We are expected to stay “virginal” in order to hold value and be respected. We can see signs of these teachings through institutionalized religion. Catholic, Christian, and Muslim dogma all uphold the idea that women come second to men, and that we must maintain our purity or burn in the fires of hell, or it’s equal, while facing social humiliation and shame for indulging our sexuality. This is due to male ownership of women. Everything we are is meant to be owned by men. Our last name, our orgasms, our freedom.

Here is my issue. As I women, I feel that my self-worth should not be gauged by how many partners I have, or what I prefer in terms of sex. I’m a human being, and my needs and desires are just as important and relevant as eating and breathing. For so many centuries, women have not even considered figuring out what pleases them because their needs come second to a man’s. Many of us tremble with the fear of being attached to negative sexist slurs and not losing our “innocence”.

Being called a slut is one of the worst insults you can call a women, next to being called “fat”. We are deemed evil for enjoying sex and having a surplus of partners from critical men who detest our wants and desires. What I find amusing is that these men engage and crave a “sexual” women, all the while looking down upon us and calling us out of our name. They criticize the very thing they are. A human being with sexual needs.

Along with being socially degraded, many myths about female sexuality have been created in order to keep the virginity chain shackled to women. For instance, the hymen located in the vaginal canal, is known to be an indicator of whether a women is still a virgin or not. This myth is false. This is definitely a man’s construct to make sure he’s the only one who has penetrated HIS woman. Yes, you’re born with a hymen but it breaks apart during puberty. Only 50% of women bleed after having sex for the first time - and it’s from vaginal tearing, not your hymen. Meaning that a man doesn’t know what he is fucking doing with a virgin, causing her pussy to bleed. My next few rants will go into further depth on such sexual myths…

In closing this opening rant on the topic of female sexuality, we should be encouraged to explore our bodies and celebrate our sexual desires! Just as men are allowed to!
